Three Join DCCC's Educational Foundation Board

MEDIA, PA (Monday August 10, 2009) – The Delaware County Community College Educational Foundation Board has appointed three new members.

Marvin T. Fox of Landenberg is Vice President of Marketing for Harrah’s Chester Casino and Racetrack. He is responsible for the development and execution of Harrah’s Chester’s annual marketing strategy. Fox earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from University of Oregon. He serves on the Board of the Chester Education Foundation and is chairman of the Marketing Committee.

Robert M. Madonna of West Chester is Principal and Executive Vice President for McCoy Enterprises, a leading corporate employee training and consulting firm in West Chester. Madonna holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Widener University and an associate degree in Business Administration from Delaware County Community College. He serves as a Board of Trustee with The Silver Springs – Martin Luther School located in Plymouth Meeting and an advisory board member of Educational Excellence and Entrepreneurship (3E Institute) at West Chester University.

Phyllis (Pam) Mariani of West Chester is General Manager/Board of Director for Edgmont Country Club. She received her B.S. degree in Education from the University of Miami (Fla.) and did graduate work at Widener University. Mariani is a board member for the Press Club serving the Philadelphia suburbs and an author of children’s books. She is a host for several blind golfer organizations and club liaison to both Delaware and Chester County Special Olympic Golf Teams.

The DCCC Educational Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization created to provide resources to assist the College in achieving its mission.

McCoy Enterprises, located in Deptford, NJ, named Alicia Vincent as Director of New Business Development overseeing existing and emerging new business in the areas of: finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and technology. “Alicia’s background and expertise will tremendously expand our ability to provide the valued added partnering efforts for which McCoy Enterprises has been known.” said Joe McCoy, President and CEO of McCoy Enterprises.

Vincent, a Berks County resident has spent the last nineteen years in the sales and marketing industry; twelve of those years concentrating on workforce development , and professional development training. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from the Pennsylvania State University and has completed two years of studies towards her Masters Degree in Leadership Development also from Pennsylvania State University.

In addition to workforce development, Alicia has worked as a project manager for a torpedo defense company servicing the U.S. Navy. Her broad based experience includes: production supervision, qualifying team alignment, and grant writing specializing in workforce development programs such as: WEDnetPA and the Customized Job Training (CJT) programs, trainer, and program developer.

Alicia serves her community through her involvement with United Way and PA Foundation for Free Enterprise Education volunteerism. She is also a 2005 graduate of the Chester County Leadership Connection, and current Board Member of the Innovative Technology Action Group (ITAG), an initiative supported by the Chester County Economic Development Council.
