VOORHEES, N.J. — GPSEG on Wednesday named longtime member Robert M. Madonna the winner of its second annual Chris Pavlides Networking for Life Award at its Fall Networking Reception which was held at the Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees.

The award honors a member that embodies the philosophy of “networking” and is named after the group’s founder Constantine “Chris” Pavlides. The former associate professor of entrepreneurship at Temple University’s Fox School of Business died in 2009.

Madonna is a resident of West Chester, Pa., and is a principal and executive vice president of sales and marketing for McCoy Enterprises of Deptford, N.J., a company that provides corporate training programs. Founded in 1998, McCoy Enterprises has developed a customized approach to educational philosophy, with programs designed to keep businesses on target and on strategy with improved productivity, customer service and sales results.

Madonna chairs GPSEG’s Community Service Committee. He also holds board leadership and advisory committee positions with Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, Young Scholars Charter School, Delaware County Community College Foundation, Silver Springs Martin Luther School, Attention Deficit Disorder Association, West Chester University 3E Institute, Mommy’s Light Lives on Fund and Golden Cradle Adoption Services.

"Even among our high-powered membership, Bob Madonna stands out, which is why GPSEG’s nearly 1,500 members elected him to receive this prestigious award,” said GPSEG CEO and Chairman Dwayne Patterson. “Bob’s played an integral role in GPSEG for years and embodies our philosophy of 'Networking for Life.' And he practices what he preaches – he chairs our Community Service Committee and is involved with numerous community organizations."
